Bicycles Online is the exclusive retailer of Polygon Bikes, as ridden by the Polygon UR World Cup Team. Check out the video bellow to see who is riding Polygon this year! MTB Full Suspension, or dual suspension mountain bikes feature suspension both for the front and rear wheels. The added suspension allows improved traction. It allows for bigger hits, steeper descents and won’t punish you every time you make the wrong call at speed. Full suspension bikes tend to be more comfortable than hard tail mountain bikes, but also slightly heavier.

The amount of travel on the suspension will vary depending on the discipline, Cross Country Mountain bikes normally have suspension travel from 100 to 120mm, All Mountain Bikes (Trail/Enduro) will have a travel from 120 to 160mm and Downhill Mountain bikes have the longest travel of all ranging from 160 up to 200mm.

Full suspension bikes are typically more forgiving and will allow you to spend more time on the saddle, a hardtail will get your back and legs tired as you need to get out of the saddle every time the trails gets rough. Having a Dual Suspension means the impacts will be absorb by the rear shock, saving you a lot of energy consequently extending your ride. Dual Suspension Mountain come equipped with the latest technology and brands like Shimano, Rockshox, Fox, Schwalbe, Entity, Kore, Mavic and much more.
