If you love putting in the kms and having the latest technology, then you'll love the Polygon Helios C6.0 Disc road bike. The C6.0 Disc is designed for the long distance group rider, charity rider, Gran Fondo enthusiast, or anyone who just wants a serious road bike that doesn't push your body to the limits like a full-on race bike. The bike comes standard with all the great features of the C6.0 including the new 22 speed Shimano 105 groupset, but also packs the added bonus of being equipped with the new Shimano 105 road disc brakes, giving you the best stopping power available in this category.

The Helios C6 Disc uses the same frame as its C8 big brother. It is UCI approved and is made from Polygon's proprietary ultra high modulus T-series carbon which results in a semi-monocoque structure that is incredibly stiff, light and responsive. A high modulus frame has a stiffer blend of fibers which results in less flex and better transmission of power spent. The C6.0 frame is further refined with a Shimano press fit bottom bracket and tapered head tube. The larger press fit design allows Polygon to move the frame material around, thinning out the seat stays and strengthening the chain stays, which puts the carbon where it matters to you most. The tapered head tube stiffens the front end of the bike for better power transmission.

Polygon have chosen a wheelset that is in fact normally seen on a Shimano Ultegra level bike, being the new Shimano RX31 clincher wheels. The RX-31s are super tough and suitable for every day riding and even a bit of cyclocross. They are outfitted with Schwalbe Ultremo ZX tyres that have a slick surface for low rolling resistance and a wider 25c profile for greater stability, especially while cornering. The light weight Entity Expert finishing kit including handlebar, stem and seatpost polish off this UCI approved carbon endurance road bike.

When your bike arrives, all you have to attach is the front wheel, the handlebar and pedals, everything else has been done – the headset has been adjusted, wheels trued, pedals and seat post greased, brakes and gears calibrated, and the tyres have been pumped up (please note upon arrival, in some cases you may need to add more air to tyres).

Most companies simply sell you the bike as it comes from the factory, which will require significant know-how to get your bike on the road. Currently we are the only Australian company providing this service, and have the 14 day test ride to back it up.

How does my bike arrive? Bicycles Online

All tools are provided with the bike.

If you are unsure of how to assemble this bike after viewing the instruction videos above, we recommend you ask for help from someone with knowledge of how to use basic hand tools.

Whilst your new bicycle will have already gone through our Pro Build process, you will still need to complete some minor final assembly steps when you take your bicycle out of its box.

Please follow the video playlist below to correctly complete the setup of your new bike:

Assembly Time:

  • 10-15min - You have assembled bikes before
  • 15-25min - You are mechanically handy
  • 30-40min - Never assembled a bike and working with tools isn't your thing

Unboxing your bike:

Start by carefully opening the top flap to expose the contents. You will see the bike with plenty of protective packaging and next to the rear wheel, the saddle & seatpost, a small cardboard box where your pedals, tools, bell and reflectors are. If you ordered any other products with the bike, it is likely they were placed on the bottom of the box as well. Remove all the loose items before pulling the bike out of the box and gently placing it on the floor.

Keep the box and all the protective packaging found on the bike in case you choose to change frame sizes, upgrade/downgrade the bike, or return the bike for a full refund under the 14 Day Test Ride Policy.
