Road bike, or 'racers' are the most popular form of cycling. The bikes are designed to be lightweight and fast, allowing you race, commute or simply cover longer distances easily. 

Carbon and alloy (aluminium) are the most common frame types available because of their weight and strength. Drop handlebars are usually found on most road bicycles, however flat bars also provide another option for those wanting more comfort.
