The Cozmic29 CX2.0 is the first in the line up for Polygon's 29er range. The benefits of a 29er have been well documented, with lower rolling resistance as well as a better "angle of attack" where allowing the rider to roll over obstacles more easily than a typical 26" mountain bike wheel.
Featuring Polygon's ALX hydroformed 6061 aluminum frame, the new CX2.0 has been up-sized to accommodate 29" wheels. The addition of hydroformed butted alloy bars are certainly welcome, especially on a bike at this price point. The "butted" alloy refers to the varying wall thickness of the alloy tubes. This allows the engineers to specify a lighter tube, and reduces the weight of the bike. The bike is finished with a 30-speed Shimano Deore drivetrain, Shimano BL-M395 hydraulic disc brakes and 29" Ryde Taurus double-wall alloy wheels, making the Cozmic CX2.0 29er an even more capable and fun-to-ride trail bike than the original.
Polygon have again set the standard in value, providing a complete package with quality components all for under $1000.

Free Pro Build valued at $99
All of our bicycles come with a Free Pro Build valued at $99. This means that your bicycle will be pre built by our professional mechanics. For your convenience, safety and comfort all our bikes are fully assembled and test ridden prior to delivery. The bike is then packaged back into a box for secure shipment.
When your bike arrives, all you have to attach is the front wheel, the handlebar and pedals, everything else has been done – the headset has been adjusted, wheels trued, pedals and seat post greased, brakes and gears calibrated, and the tyres have been pumped up (please note upon arrival, in some cases you may need to add more air to tyres).
Most companies simply sell you the bike as it comes from the factory, which will require significant know-how to get your bike on the road. Currently we are the only Australian company providing this service, and have the 14 day test ride to back it up.
All the tools required to assemble the bike are included.
If you are unsure of how to assemble this bike after viewing the instruction videos above, we recommend you ask for help from someone with knowledge of how to use basic hand tools.

Got it yesterday and took it out today for the first ride and it tracked very well. The tires are pretty basic but thats an easy upgrade, that and the pedals are the only thing I feel ill upgrade on this for now. The packaging on receiving is what surprised me the most. It was very well thought out, grease and lock tight already applied, it actually shocked me that it was so well packed. Of course I tightened up everything again but that "should" be a given. The Deore XT components were excellent, all very smooth. All in all I'm very happy with it. Ill be recommending this to anyone and everyone.
Cosmic 2.0 better than expected

Recieved my wifes new Cosmic 2.0 MTB 3 days after ordering, straight out of the box, fitted wheels and handlebars and rode away, gears adjusted to perfection, brakes set up perfect, so far the quality and setup of this bike has exceeded my expectations. Deore XT components great, frame finish equal to more costly brands. I would consider a carbon fibre Polygon when my current MTB has worn out.
Great bike, poor setup

The bike is great! Really good value for money! Also very good looking.
My issue is the set up:
The front brake cable wasn't secured properly, and anytime the zip tie moves it goes into the spokes.
Another cable at the back for the gears wasn't secured either, and catches on the back of my shoe every time I peddle.
The handle bar grip is not tight on one side, and after a day on the trail it had slid across toward the centre of the handlebars.
Additionally, the brake pad at the back was rubbing (not too much) but still rubbing from the first day.
The guys who work there are great, they are very helpful and the bike is awesome, I just don't think much effort went into setting it up.
Thank you for your review Richard, we sincerely appreciate your feedback as it helps us fine tune our build process. We take your comments seriously and will pass them onto the relevant bike mechanic.
I hope those issues were only minor and you have otherwise enjoyed the bike.

It is my first bike so maybe it's not as awesome as I think it is. But I like everything about it and have christened it "The Longhorn" due to the wide handlebars

Bike arrived very quick and there was minimal work to set it up. Have had it for a few weeks now and have done over 300km an it's been faultless! Ride it to work and back every day (30km) and do it very comfortably. Gear changes are smoothe and brakes work really well. For the price it is a real winner! Highly recommended! Love it!!

Bike arrived less than 48 hrs after being ordered, leaving in Coffs Hbr I thought this was great service. Bike itself was everything that I was after. Have ridden it a couple times now and it goes great, gear changes are perfect and suspension and brakes are awesome. Would recommend to anyone. Best value for money on the market.
Surprising Value for Money

I didn't know what to accept when my bike arrived. What I received was surprisingly awesome package of great quality components and very nice finish. The bike rides beautifully on bitumen and very smooth on hardpack dirt. The gear changes are smooth and responsive. The only complaint I have is when I received the bike, the hydraulic brakes were almost non existent and were in need of some serious bleeding. After my local bike shop bled the brakes, they were lethal, awesome stopping power.
In conclusion, this was a great buy (so far). Only time will tell if it was a fantastic buy.
