Product Description

In only its first outing the Polygon DHX is the bike that was ridden to victory at the 2013 Australian Downhill Championships twice! Mick Hannah taking out the mens elite and, his sister Tracey, taking the top spot on the podium for the womens elite. See this video for a wrap up of the weekend

Hutchinson UR Team / Australian National Champs from Hutchinson UR Team on Vimeo.

The DHX is the king of the mountain, in Polygon's downhill lineup. No expense has been spared in putting together this incredible bike. This bike features the latest in Polygon's frame technology with the ALX Floating Suspension 2 Downhill frame that delivers incredibly active small bump compliance with amazing pedaling efficiency. With its now lower center of gravity due to the new FS2 frame design, the Collosus DHX delivers a rock-solid ride at any speed and has a bottomless suspension feel and highly predictable handling that gives you the confidence you need to dive hard into corners, commit to faster lines and spend less time on the binders.

Outfitted with a FOX 40 Kashima fork with 8 inches of travel, Shimano Saint drivetrain, Shimano Saint hydraulic disc brakes and Mavic Deemax UST Wheels, the Polygon Collosus DHX lets you ride as fast as you dare and possibly even faster.

Free Pro Build valued at $99

All of our bicycles come with a Free Pro Build valued at $99. This means that your bicycle will be pre built by our professional mechanics. For your convenience, safety and comfort all our bikes are fully assembled and test ridden prior to delivery. The bike is then packaged back into a box for secure shipment.

When your bike arrives, all you have to attach is the front wheel, handlebar and pedals, everything else has been done – the headset has been adjusted, wheels trued, pedals and seat post greased, brakes and gears calibrated, even the shocks and forks have been set to the correct pressure (please let us know if you are outside 70-80kg).

Most companies simply sell you the bike as it comes from the factory, which will require significant know-how to get your bike on the road. Currently we are the only Australian company providing this service, and have the 14 day test ride to back it up.

  1. Great Buy, Perfect Product, Great Service

Posted by Daniel on 29th Aug 2013

I bought this bike recently after purchasing an AX3.0 earlier in 2013 after growing fond of DH. All I can say is that if you are a DH fan then this product is for you. The components are top of the line and its an amazing deal for the price. The customer service provided is also great, if you have any problems with the bike or frame you are covered under warranty. Bicycles Online provide an amazing service if warranty claims are required. Don't be fooled by thinking that this frame is poorly designed or the strength of the frame isn't top notch as looking at the welds on mine it is as strong as any other product on the market. The frame is practically free with the setup it comes with and I doubt you will find another product with the same quality parts as the Polygon DHX. Trust me, buy this bike and you will not be disappointed.
