Congratulations on purchasing your new Polygon bicycle. Provided your bicycle is properly assembled and maintained you can experience years of enjoyable use.
Bicycles are complex machines, and do require some level of operator skill to keep in order. If you have just taken receipt of a bicycle from us, we suggest reading through the assembly instructions & assembly frequently asked questions before you begin riding.
Your Polygon bicycle comes shipped partially assembled. Whilist the bike has been pre-assembled and tuned ready-for-use in our distribution centre, it does require some assembly to finish and be ready for use.
When you receive your bicycle in-box, You should first examine the condition of the box & packaging making sure there are no significant damages to your packaging. If so you will need to thoroughly examine the bicycle and components to make sure there is no damages obtained during freight.
Once the bicycle & components have been unboxed, You should have the following at hand:
• Your partially completed bicycle. Consists of frame, fork, cockpit, drivetrain, brakes and rear wheel. • Front wheel • Seatpost and saddle • Component box or bag with pedals (if applicable), manuals, assembly guide, build checklist, front wheel quick release skewer, and the required assembly and/or service tools.
