Product Description

The Cozmic29 CX4.0 is the top of the line in Polygon's 2013 alloy competiton 29er range. In 29er's, with the increased wheel diameter, any rotating mass is even more ciritical to performance. Any increase in rim weight results in an exponential decrease in acceleration. Polygon understand this and have gone through in specifying the DT Swiss X470 rims, which are well regarded for their quality and performance within the 29" wheel market.

Featuring Polygon's ALX hydroformed 6061 aluminum frame, the new CX4.0 has been up-sized to accommodate 29" wheels. Complete with Rockshox Reba RL Solo Air suspension fork with lock out, thru axle and 100mm travel, combined with 20-speed Shimano XT / SLX drivetrain and Shimano SLX hydraulic disc brakes, the Cozmic CX4.0 29er is equipped with everything you need to fly past the competition on race day or shred at the local trail.

Check out the video below for full details:

  1. This bike is awesome

Posted by Mike Irvine on 22nd Mar 2013

I've had this bike for two weeks now and gave it a good workout on some local single track recently - awesome. The service I received was great and they even put extras in with the bike I didn't expect - tools etc. It's my first 29'er - no turning back now.

  2. Cant go past it for value

Posted by Nick on 13th Mar 2013

Ok the idea was buy it for the components and get an 'On One' frame eventually...so ordered the bike on a friday and it arrived the following Tuesday. Up specced and got the CX4.0. It arrived well packed with heaps of little extras such as a multi tool, cable protectors and a cycle spanner thing. The quality is certainly up there with all the other brands and im impressed with the assembly quality of the build. Everything works as it should and bolts are all greased etc to stop clicks and creaks. Im now tempted to just leave it as the frame geometry is spot on...quite slack so lends itself to a good do trail orientated hard tail rather than some XC race machine. Am yet to take it out on the dirt as im injured but it pedals well on the trainer ha ha!

  3. A high quailty BIke!

Posted by Gary on 12th Mar 2013

I placed an online order for my bike at lunchtime monday and by Tuesday lunchtime it was on my doorstep. I live in regional NSW and was exceptionally impressed by the service of Biyclesonline.com.au
The CX4.0 is a fantastic machine and my friends with equivelant bikes are astonished by the value for money of the polygon as compared to the big name brands.
    Very good bike, great service.
I hope the bike lasts as well as it looks.

  4. I doubt you will find better value for your dollar !

Posted by Rick (Sunshine coast). on 1st Mar 2013

My new 29er(2013 Polygon Cozmic29 CX4.0) was dispatched when they said it would be and it arrived a few days later. I have only had one ride (about 1 1/2 hrs) around my local gnarly trails. The bike performed flawlessly, I am very happy with it. The frame is finished beautifully (nice welds) and the slx kit performed without a hitch.Wheel-set is sweet). My only concern was the no-name rear hub, it sounds noisy (like a metal on metal sound). Not sure how long it will last.
