Product Description

The Cozmic29 CX2.0 is the first in the line up for Polygon's 2013 29er range. The benefits of a 29er have been well documented, with lower rolling resistance as well as a better "angle of attack" where allowing the rider to roll over obstacles more easily than a typical 26" mountain bike wheel.

Featuring Polygon's ALX hydroformed 6061 aluminum frame, the new CX2.0 has been up-sized to accommodate 29" wheels.  The addition of hydroformed butted alloy bars are certainly welcome, especially on a bike at this price point. The "butted" alloy refers to the varying wall thickness of the alloy tubes. This allows the engineers to specify a lighter tube, and reduces the weight of the bike. The bike is finished with a 20-speed Shimano Deore / SLX drivetrain, Tektro HDC-300 hydraulic disc brakes and 29" Entity double-wall alloy wheels, making the Cozmic CX2.0 29er an even more capable and fun-to-ride trail bike than the original.

Polygon have again set the standard in value, providing a complete package with quality components all for under $1000.

  1. Perfect!!!!

Posted by Unknown on 15th May 2013

Bike arrived very quick and there was minimal work to set it up. Have had it for a few weeks now and have done over 300km an it's been faultless! Ride it to work and back every day (30km) and do it very comfortably. Gear changes are smoothe and brakes work really well. For the price it is a real winner! Highly recommended! Love it!!

  2. Awesome Bike

Posted by Ian - Coffs Hbr on 29th Apr 2013

Bike arrived less than 48 hrs after being ordered, leaving in Coffs Hbr I thought this was great service. Bike itself was everything that I was after. Have ridden it a couple times now and it goes great, gear changes are perfect and suspension and brakes are awesome. Would recommend to anyone. Best value for money on the market.

  3. Surprising Value for Money

Posted by Goran Ford on 22nd Apr 2013

I didn't know what to accept when my bike arrived. What I received was surprisingly awesome package of great quality components and very nice finish. The bike rides beautifully on bitumen and very smooth on hardpack dirt. The gear changes are smooth and responsive. The only complaint I have is when I received the bike, the hydraulic brakes were almost non existent and were in need of some serious bleeding. After my local bike shop bled the brakes, they were lethal, awesome stopping power.
In conclusion, this was a great buy (so far). Only time will tell if it was a fantastic buy.
